Alabama Power IAAP Chapter
The following changes to our Bylaws and Standing Rules have been suggested by the Alabama Division Bylaws and Standing Rules Committee and adopted and amended as of 07/15/2011:
Under Article V - Committees
Section 2.B. Duties of Bylaws and Standing Rules Committee
Paragraph 3. Delete “and approval” This is a housekeeping rule and does not need to be voted on.
Under Article VII - Representation
Sections 2 Delete “Southeast District Conference and the…” – this conference is no longer held; this is a housekeeping change and does not need to be voted on.
Section 3. Delete Southeast Division Conference, add Alabama to “Division Annual Meeting” (EDAM). For conformity, this is a housekeeping change and does not need to be voted on.
Section 4. Change 15 days to 20 days as requested by the International Bylaws and Standing Rules Committee, this is also a housekeeping rule and does not need to be voted on.
Standing Rules
Change “Division Professional Education” to “Alabama Division Spring Conference”. The PESC name was changed at the ADAM and can be a housekeeping change.
